The trio of figures is inspired by three iconic expressions of French fashion history: the graceful Dior Bar silhouette, the unforgettable elegance of Audrey Hepburn in Givenchy for Sabrina, and the timeless Chanel ensemble. Together, they capture three different interpretations of the same idea—structure, simplicity and impeccable elegance.
 
The inspiration for this design is deeply personal. My love of fashion began with old films and the beautifully dressed women who seemed to inhabit another era of elegance. It eventually led me to Paris, where I lived for four years, and to a career in fashion spanning more than a decade. Icons of Chic is, in many ways, a little love letter to where that journey began.
