Très Chic Parisienne is an ode to the effortless elegance of everyday Parisian style—and to the art of having a wardrobe that works for real life.
The three figures are not three different women, but one Parisienne dressing for three different moments in her day: work, leisure and a date. The silhouettes change, but the attitude remains the same—simple, polished and effortlessly put together.
Living in Paris, I was always struck by the way French women could look so chic without appearing overly dressed. Their wardrobes were often surprisingly considered rather than extensive. Parisian apartments don't exactly encourage enormous walk-in wardrobes, so what they owned tended to be chosen carefully: a beautifully cut coat, perfectly fitting trousers, a simple knit, a great shirt, the right shoes. The magic was in how those pieces were combined and worn.
This design celebrates that approach to dressing. Three everyday looks, three occasions and one very Parisian idea: you don't need a lot to look beautiful. It is about knowing what suits you, choosing well and making even the simplest wardrobe feel entirely your own.
Très Chic Parisienne is also designed to pair beautifully with Icons of Chic. While Icons of Chic looks back to the glamour and elegance of French fashion history, Très Chic Parisienne brings that same love of beautiful clothing into contemporary everyday life. Stitched and framed together, the two make a wonderful little fashion collection—particularly in a dressing room, bedroom or walk-in wardrobe.
